Our EN71-approved anti-fray resistant satin is a durable, firmer garment care label designed to withstand harsher conditions. As the name suggests, the cut edges are highly resistant to fraying, making it significantly tougher than our softer satin materials. As a result, the labels do not require the cut ends to be heat sealed.

While it has a similar appearance to standard soft satin, this material is better suited for products that do not come into direct contact with the skin, as its firmer texture may feel slightly itchy. Due to its rigidity, only one end of the label needs to be sewn into the product, simplifying application.

This material is available in a range of widths in white and can be printed using our specialist wash care inks in colours such as black and red. The white fray-resistant satin, along with black, white, and red printed text, is fully compliant with EN71-3 and Oeko-Tex regulations.
